The Prisma Vase in nickel-plated metal has been carefully crafted from a whole sheet of metal and worked by hand with the application of embossed textures throughout the facets of the vase. The design of the vase was inspired by the art movements of the 20th century, in particularly by the works of the Cubist - Georges Braque. The piece encapsulates the modern feel and superlative craftsmanship for which the GARRIDO workshop is so well known.
CUSPID COLLECTION
The Cuspid Collection is one of the earliest collections designed by Juan and Paloma Garrido. Developed at the early stages of the new era of GARRIDO workshop, the collection strongly references the craft of silversmiths. It showcases the superlative skill of GARRIDO as masters of silver, artfully displaying numerous traditional techniques rarely used these days. The collection experiments with and challenges the technical skills of soldering, cold-bending, forging, polishing and embossing. Using geometrical shapes and angularity, the collection alludes to Cubism, forming a study of three dimensionality through volume and line. Similarly to Cubism the Cuspid Collection uses broken up forms and creates an illusion of presenting a multitude of viewpoints in a greater context.

Containing three tables, the Crystal Low Table Set of Three adheres to GARRIDO’s ethos of fusing contemporary design with extraordinary craftsmanship using traditional techniques of forging and etching. The facades of this set have been hand-crafted using 24 karat champagne gold-plated brass. Shielding from the surface wear all facets of the tables is treated with high-quality plating and hand-applied hammering, aiding to the longevity of the table set.

Crafted with the application of two types of finishes, with exterior hand-polished to high gloss and inward segments chiselled to achieve a textured effect which alludes to the white sands of Areas beach, unique only to this region. The combination of these metal techniques offers a sequence of lustre and mirror effects inside the core of the console table.

The elegant Cilindros Square Table has been hand-crafted using nickel alloy-plated brass and topped with an extraordinary Nero Marquina marble slab. The marble’s richly black colouring compliments the high sheen Onyx plated cylinders, which make up the body of the table. Each one of these column-shaped components different in size has been hand-shaped into a perfect geometrical form and assembled with great level of precision. Hand-polished to a high gloss, these jewel-like pieces wedged together create a masterpiece, unique in its execution.
CILINDROS COLLECTION
The Cilindros Collection firmly consolidates in the geometric design and poses as an avant-garde form. Based on curved forms inspired by the female body, the sensual and delicate forms of the collection offer a very gentle and feminine aesthetic. Inspired by the geometric forms of Art Deco, and the bright colours and rare and exquisite materials prevalent in the Vienna Secession movement, the Cilindros Collection is a luxuriously sculptural design. Quoting Art Deco with the cylindrical motives seen throughout the collection, the Cilindros pieces are transformed by the asymmetry that grants them a multiplicity of perspectives, playfully surprising the viewers. The creations appeal to the senses of balance, beauty and appreciation for the history of art and techniques.

The sculptural Aristas Console Table is crafted from onyx coloured nickel alloy-plating with table-top executed in anthracite-coloured nickel. The piece’s richly dark table-top is meticulously worked with embossed textures. The rippled body of the console table is polished to a high sheen, to creating a luminous effect. The Aristas Console Table is an unconventional jewellery-furniture piece, inspired by the Avant-garde notions of experimental design and unorthodox approach to aesthetics.
ARISTAS COLLECTION
Galvanised by the power of light the Aristas Collection is based on smooth surfaces that bestow an elegant formal purity to the designs. With the numerous broken lines on the rippled surface of the pieces, which resemble the beams of light the collection is an artistic adaptation of the energy of light. The dramatic composition of the spherical elements posing at the centre of a number of the Aristas pieces with the dramatic busts of light - pay homage to the dramatisation of light pioneered by the Baroque artists, especially Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Similarly to the 17th-century style the Aristas collection creates theatrical composition using deep colours, grandeur and notion of surprise in order to achieve a sense of awe in the viewer.

Bespoke Design
The distinguished Mineral Cabinet has a silver & nickel plated brass front enriched with high gloss finish, which rotates outwards to reveal a luxurious dark walnut, lining shelves and cupboard doors - designed to hold drinks and precious objects. The cabinet features mineral inspired motives adorning all façades of the cabinet, the effect achieved by meticulous precision of engineering and forging the segments. The Mineral Cabinet is cradled by a stand crafted using the same materials and elongating the shape of the piece.

The Mineral Collection is handmade using the finest precious metals and the age-old techniques used by jewellery makers. Emblematic for its high gloss finish and remarkable jagged motives the collection was inspired by the physical properties of minerals. Pieces from this collection have a satisfying solidity, sculptural feel and a flawless clarity and brilliance when positioned near a natural source of light, similarly to the properties of minerals typically found in nature. The collection’s exquisitely ridged shapes are carefully cold-bend and soldered by our skilled craftsmen, making each piece from this collection absolutely unique.

This Gold Trenza Lamp features a vibrant geometric motif depicted in forged bronze-plated metal. The geometric rectangular motif draws its inspiration from the method of braiding hair, particularly the interwoven feature which is applied in this design. The lamp base is shaped in rounded format, presenting different views of the ‘braided’ metal segments. When lit up the rich golden hue of the polished base comes alive, reflecting the golden light. The Trenza Lamp also includes a luxurious silk shade.
