The elegant Cilindros Coffee Table plated in 24 karat-champagne gold and covered with a Portoro marble-top. The marble top has golden veining running across its surface which matches the hue of the metalwork. Featuring a high gloss amorphous shape running across the whole facade of the table and delicate textures wrapping the surface around. The richness of the embossed pattern complimented by the lavishness of the natural stone lends to the luxuriousness of the design.

The Cilindros Collection firmly consolidates in the geometric design and poses as an avant-garde form. Based on curved forms inspired by the female body, the sensual and delicate forms of the collection offer a very gentle and feminine aesthetic. Inspired by the geometric forms of Art Deco, and the bright colours and rare and exquisite materials prevalent in the Vienna Secession movement, the Cilindros Collection is a luxuriously sculptural design. Quoting Art Deco with the cylindrical motives seen throughout the collection, the Cilindros pieces are transformed by the asymmetry that grants them a multiplicity of perspectives, playfully surprising the viewers. The Crosscut Table in Onyx plating has been the latest addition to the Crosscut collection. Featuring three different finishes, chemical etching, satin burnish and hand-polishing in combination with the rich black nickel alloy plating, the table offers a strikingly modern aesthetic. The juxtaposition of glass and ridged metal forms that make up the table, in conjunction with the plating's sensually vibrant lustre pay homage to contemporary architecture.
CROSSCUT COLLECTION
Taking inspiration from architecture, the collection employs vertical and horizontal shapes to form geometric compositions, applying smooth surfaces that bestow elegant formal purity to the designs. The Crosscut collection presents a combination of ridged and highly angular motifs. The apparent regularity that stems from such a strict geometric approach is transformed and enhanced by the asymmetry that grants all the pieces a multiplicity of perspectives, playfully surprising the viewer with a multitude of viewing points.

The Tubular Table is executed from pale bronze-plated metal with a glass table-top. The design is dedicated to the study of volume through the use of lines and positive and negative spaces. The shimmering effect of the satin burnish and elaborate hand-embossed textures at the top of the table create a subtle contract of the surfaces. The complexity of the design is embodies in the combination of straight lines of the exterior with the curved shapes applied to the core of the framework, exhibiting the challenges GARRIDO artisans overcome when the assembling the piece.

The exquisite Large Cilindros Low Table has been hand-crafted using 24 karat rose gold-plated brass and an Afghanistan stone table-top. The marble’s glistening pink veining compliments the high sheen rose gold cylinders. Each one of these column-shaped components different in shape and size has been hand-shaped into a perfect geometrical form and assembled with great level of precision. Hand-polished to high gloss and hand-embossed, these jewel-like pieces wedged together create a masterpiece.

The Cilindros Oval Table draws inspiration from the curved geometric forms often found in the Art-Deco architecture and is based on the earlier design of the Cilindros centrepiece. Visually arresting oval shapes of the table offer a sculptural aesthetic to the design. The striking textures developed specifically for this collection are hand-applied through the gentle hammering of the metal surfaces. Each individual piece has been treated with embossment or satin burnishing and placed to show off the skill of the workshop. The Cilindros Oval Table is a result of exceptional craftsmanship and long hours of delicate development.
