Containing two tables, the Crystal Low Table Set adheres to GARRIDO’s ethos of fusing contemporary design with extraordinary craftsmanship using traditional techniques of forging and etching. The facades of this set have been hand-crafted using 24 karat yellow gold-plated brass and dressed with the anthracite dyed nickel table-top. Shielding from the surface wear the tops of the tables are contrastingly dark and treated like the rest of the set with acid etching, aiding to the longevity of the Crystal Low Table Set.

The Crystal Collection is one of the most complex collections executed at GARRIDO workshop. Complex forms of the Crystal Collection are inspired by the highly ordered lattice structure of organic crystal formations: diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other precious stones. Embodied in metal and on a grander scale, the GARRIDO Crystal pieces are the workshop’s adaptation of jewellery. Lustrous in their finish and luxurious in design, the GARRIDO jewels are evocative of the exquisite gemstones with their organic aesthetic and highly asymmetrical forms.

The exquisite Large Cilindros Low Table has been hand-crafted using 24 karat rose gold-plated brass and an Afghanistan stone table-top. The marble’s glistening pink veining compliments the high sheen rose gold cylinders. Each one of these column-shaped components different in shape and size has been hand-shaped into a perfect geometrical form and assembled with great level of precision. Hand-polished to high gloss and hand-embossed, these jewel-like pieces wedged together create a masterpiece.
CILINDROS COLLECTION
The Cilindros Collection firmly consolidates in the geometric design and poses as an avant-garde form. Based on curved forms inspired by the female body, the sensual and delicate forms of the collection offer a very gentle and feminine aesthetic. Inspired by the geometric forms of Art Deco, and the bright colours and rare and exquisite materials prevalent in the Vienna Secession movement, the Cilindros Collection is a luxuriously sculptural design. Quoting Art Deco with the cylindrical motives seen throughout the collection, the Cilindros pieces are transformed by the asymmetry that grants them a multiplicity of perspectives, playfully surprising the viewers. The creations appeal to the senses of balance, beauty and appreciation for the history of art and techniques.
