The distinguished Folds Art Wall is the perfect occasional piece which will add a touch of luxury to any interior. Hand-crafted in our signature geometric design and plated in 24 karat champagne and yellow gold, it’s the ultimate statement piece. Crafted on a monumental scale, the art wall is assembled from a multitude of metal facets: some meticulously etched and others hand-polished to high gloss. Serving function of a mirror, the Folds Art Wall plays with our perception using slanted facets to create optical illusions. Susceptible to its surrounding the art wall changes its hue depending on the lighting & the colours of the interiors it's submerged in.

With the natural world lying at the very heart of GARRIDO’s oeuvre, the Folds Collection pays tribute to the issue of the global warming and melting of the arctic ice caps. Willing to bring awareness to the issue, GARRIDO uses iceberg and icicle forms as its inspiration, referencing the interlocking horizontal and vertical lines found in ice formation. Highly ridged folds, characteristic for this collection, symbolise the crashing and shattering of the arctic ice. Embodied in metal the GARRIDO Folds pieces personify the fading beauty of the natural world. Executed in lustrous metals and coated with the frosting-like textures, the Folds pieces resemble different shapes of ice, offering an inventive adaptation of the natural elements.

The monumental Crystal Mirror features highly angular segments reminiscent of precious gemstone which are purposefully laid out into a geometric pattern. The segments, framing the mirror are crafted using polishing and etching techniques and exhibit dramatic alternation of high gloss finish and two textures. The composition is painstakingly assembled by hand and feature nickel and bronze plated brass. Venetian bronze finish offers a strong juxtaposition to the shimmering matt nickel, creating a powerful aesthetic, with the whole of Crystal Mirror being applied with embossed and carved figuring.

The Crystal Collection is one of the most complex collections executed at GARRIDO workshop. Challenging the precision of design and execution, pieces from this collection embody engineering genius of the workshop. Complex forms of the Crystal Collection are inspired by the highly ordered lattice structure of organic crystal formations: diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other precious stones. Embodied in metal and on a grander scale, the GARRIDO Crystal pieces are the workshop’s adaptation of jewellery. Lustrous in their finish and luxurious in design, the GARRIDO jewels are evocative of the exquisite gemstones with their organic aesthetic and highly asymmetrical forms.

The iconic Folds Table Set contains two asymmetrical segments, each plated in 24 karat rose gold and nickel, that can ingeniously break into two coffee tables or assemble into one block. The pink and silver hues complement the tables, enhancing the shimmering effect and the interplay of colour and light. The highly ridged folds designed with the alternating high gloss polishing and coarser frosting-like etching finish, create a strong dramatic effect. Adorned with luxurious textures and glistening nickel the table-tops are designed to ensure the longevity and functionality of the piece.
